Step 1 - Activate Light
The powerful LED light will help speed up the whitening process. Take the battery out of the LED light, remove plastic strip, and reinsert battery to turn on.
Step 2 - Attach Mouth Tray to LED Light
The front of the mouth tray will fit snugly over the LED light ensuring the light will be in constant contact with your teeth and that you won't have to hold the light up to your mouth throughout the process.
Step 3 - Apply Teeth Whitening Gel
Apply a thin line of the teeth whitening gel to the upper and lower walls of the mouth tray (0.5ml to each). Do not overload the mouth tray, less is most often better.
Step 4 - Begin Whitening
Turn on your LED whitening light and wear mouth trays for up to 30 minutes (check instruction manual for exact times). Remove mouth trays when done and rinse mouth and tray with cold water.
Step 5 - Remineralise (optional)
After your mouth tray has been rinsed with cold water and allowed to dry, apply a thin line of the remineralising gel the to the upper and lower walls of the mouth tray (0.5ml to each) and wear for 10 minutes. Once you have finished rinse your mouth and tray out with cold water.
DO NOT USE IF: pregnant/nursing, poor dental health (decayed teeth, exposed roots, gum disease, wear braces, recent oral surgery, jaw problems). At-home treatments do have some low risks involved and you should consult your dentist if you experience any problem.
Some people may experience tooth sensitivity and gum irritation. If this is the case then stop for a few days or decrease the time of having your trays in your mouth.
